There is happiness and tears
filled with rebellion and fears
Letting go and starting to fly
being watched with His loving eyes
Making mistakes; teaching to learn
what happens when taking wrong turns
Falling, crashing; stumbling again
always watching, a powerful friend
Asking for help, the hardest thing
He gives patience with understanding
Accepting Christ, beginning a new
flying again and getting through
Soaring, gliding, under His wings
feeling, with Him, getting through all things
Dying, ending, resting assure
given new life, for He is the cure
