    Nobody

    written by: Carly Thomas
    category: Teen Love

As i walk down the hallways i see myself all alone.
With no one to share secrets and talk all day long.
    I had no one.
In some cases people end up finding love
but for all the wrong reasons.
The girls i see that walk by me are
    what you call spoiled rotten!
They get the guys they want,
    the clothes they want,
    the grades,the life!
Sometimes when i sit in my room
I stare at my ceiling praying that someone will
walk in and just be my friend.
Whats the use, im a nobdy.
A few days later the teacher had put the class in partners.
    I mean PARTNERS!!
Hello im a nobody with no friends,
how am i supose to be partnered up with someone ,who probably doesn't
    even know im alive!
But to my surprise,i got partnered with the cutest boy in school.
    o' my god i thought.!
I've been crushing on him since i first layed my eyes on him.
    His name was Jake.
He was head of the varsity football team,
    and everyone loved him.
    We acsually became very close.
He wasnt anything i thought he would be like.
He told me all his secrets that would kill him
if anyone found out. I did the same ..
About 5 months later he asked me out.
I was very surprised because i was still a nobody.
When we got to the movies all of his friends were there.
He introduced me to everyone and we watched the movie.
Some of the girls went to the bathroom and dragged me with them.
They told me Jakes plans about what he wanted to do later.
I knew they were lying because i knew i could trust him.
They put makeup on me and gave me a shirt to put on.
I felt really weird but at the same time i felt i fit in more.
We got back and all the boys stared at me.
I was wondering why. but then Jake took me to
the side and asked me why i changed and put makeup on.
I told him what happened and then we left.
We were driving in the car and then we came to a spot.
He got out of the car and told me to close my eyes.
We walked for a little while and came to a stop.
He told me to open my eyes and what i saw was amazing.
The stars and the moon shining as bright as can be.
We were standing on the largest hill in town, it
    overlooked all of its beauty.
I turned around and Jake was standing there smiling.
He asked me if i liked it and boy did i ever.
no one has ever done anything like that for me befor in my life.
I laughed and gave him a hug and a kiss.
We drove back home and he walked me to my door.
He gave me a kiss and said goodbye.
I was so happy that i fell right to sleep.
I woke up with the biggest smile ever.
The next day I went to school and everyone was so sad.
I was wondering why, so i asked one of Jakes friends.
    I nearly passed out.
I found out that before Jake got to his house
he reached an intersection and when he went to turn a drunk driver hit his car.
Jake was in the hospital in a coma.
I ran out of the school and drove to the hospital.
I found his room and there he was laying there helpless.
His face was so pale and cold.
I sat down next to him and i said how sorry i was for him to
ask me out and then having to drive back across the
intersection to get to his house and how sorry
i was to have said yes and that it was my fault he got in the accident.
I was crying on his shoulder and then i felt an arm around me.
I looked up and there was Jake smiling at me.
I was never happier in my life.
He told me he loved me and that he always has from the moment he saw me.
    I felt the same way.
He kissed me on my cheek and he asked me to go steady.
    I said yes and that's when i realized i was'nt a nobody
