Shadows of midnight
clouded my night
as i search for love beneath
the still moonlight
and echoes of song birdsfill my
heart theres fear all around me
the pain thats inside me
i can love you or maybe
love wont let me decide
and the shadows of midnight
fills my eyes
the passion inside me
for your love i have cried
now dark clouds surround me
i'm alone in the night
with noone to hold me
the ghostly clouds fight
and the shadows of midnight
pass swifly away
a thin ray of sunlight reveals
a new day
i pray for my lover
i pray for my friend
if ever i'll love thee
i'll see thee again!
