    The Colors Of My Love

    written by: Victoria
    Category: Love

Red, like the final glowing of the sunset.
in a visual magnificence.

Blue, like the sky,
where the birds spread their wings and fly freely.

Brown, like the mighty trunk of an oak tree,
where I will engrave my intials.

Yellow, like a maze of corn,
where I get lost when I am without you.

Orange, like the spots on the sun that burn
even hotter than the sun itself.

Green, like the meadows,
where a spring flows to quench your thirst.

White, like the purest snow that blankets the earth in the mid of winter.

Pink, like the tender petals of a tulip on a spring day.

Black, like the deepest part of the universe,
where gravity allows nothing to escape.

Purple, like the royal robe a queen wears upon her throne.

Silver, like the lining of the clouds I walk on,
when I am with you.

Gold, like the endless fields of wheat
that will become the bread of life.

Put all the colors together and I will give you,

Gray, like storming weather
with thunder roaring and lightning striking at will.
