    The Voice of Dawn

    written by: Dwayne Pagnotto
    Category: Love/Inspiration

The morning light star dispells pale frightened shadows
    From the ghostly mansions
Where seldom heard voices still linger.
In the haunting sounds of the quiet nightfall
I can see her vocal brilliancy
As it enlightens the untouched realms of poetic hearts everywhere

With the carefree caress of a feather stroke.

She draws back the intricate lace curtains of midnight
Then beckons us to peer within
Doing so we behold the primeval pond of mystery
    From whence creation sprang.
As her mind travels light years into the future
She returns with glimpses of the past.

Her eyes are like two aquariums
That show the world in miniature scale.

    With her bright revealing stare
She draws us into her imagination

Breathes new life into our spirits

    Then sets us free...

    Into her freshly written universe.
