    Alone & Gone

    author: Laura B. Goodman
    category: Love/Saddness

I see her, quiet and still. She lies there like a beautiful angel.
She looks so calm, peaceful and angelic.
The thought of her not being with me makes my eyes water.
The touch of her small gentle hand, the smell of her hair,
Now all lost because of someone who could not believe,
    Someone who was faithless.
I sit here next to her thinking that none of this would have happened
If I was there with her, right next to her by her side
When she needed me the most.
But I wasn't and now I sit here...
All alone and she is gone.
