    As I Run

    author: Rebekah Feingold
    category: Carefree
As I run through the sun
all of time begins to climb
    the earth rattles
    the water rushes
    the wind whips
    and the grass dies
    the animals run
    but I don’t care
as long as I can get to you
    you my love
my love that has no bounds
    but I don’t care
    I’ll even leave you
but I don’t want to run
    run though the sun
and when the earth begins to rattle
this is when I don’t care
you could be here I could be there
    but I don’t care
    I just want to run
I just want to be free
I just want to be me
