    Don't Be Alone

    written by: Evol
    category: reality, life, loneliness

Impeccable knowledge of theories of life
Will make you a perfect lecturer of time.
A lonely pair of slippers awaiting you at home
Witnesses you are not aware of the practice of life at all.
'Cause when you heat up yesterday's dinner in haste
Nobody tenderly hugs you from behind and snuggles to your face.
One single pillow on your bed is all wet through
Because your tears accept the bitterness of truth.
In your bathroom no another toothbrush nor a men's "Gillette".
No one who'd stroke your greyish hair and dip you into his caress.
On the table instead of many many dinner service
There's a cup of tea and your reflection on its surface.
You dream of rooms for children that could have been,
You think of toys you'd buy for them, the smiles you could have seen,
The cribs you would stand by and sing a melodic lullaby.
You'd smell the flowers they'd gift for your birthday
And laugh at the jokes they'd tell you everyday.
No need to be sad 'cause the moon is much more sad.
Though you have right to lock the door and cry aloud in bed.
