Stormy skies stirring up above
Lashing, wind, hail, thunder and rain
That is what my heart felt about love
Inside of me, lost love, anguish and pain.
The day I met you, I will never forget
Inside of you, the love you offered
All the warmth, strength, love I can get
That day on, all those clouds have since parted
You have brought the sunshine into my soul
Filling those dark places inside of me
That ray of love shining in my heart, whole
The way love is meant now to be
You and I, so near yet, so far far away
This distance love we share, day and night
Our love is forever now to here to stay
I'll be coming home, that is now in sight
Now as I plan my journey home now, sweetheart
Bringing all my love,my heart has to hold
From that day on, we will never again depart
Banishing those lone days and night so cold
As we now start the new things in life
I start to live again now, burying all the pain
For I will take your hand, calling you my wife
Our love gets stronger, every passing day gain
We now have joined our hearts together
Making those vows, hand in hand
We will stand by those words forever
On your finger, as I place that love band
The happiness, the joy,that you have now brought
I am forever thankful to have met you
Now I've learned all the love you taught
My heart has now learned to say, I Love You.
