Heart vs. Soul

My heart reaches out and grabs a hold of whatever
it wishes to grab hold of.
Sometimes the heart thinks for its self though
your mind tells you no constantly.
Your heart speaks,
Sometimes so loud that you can hear it and it is
louder than what your mind is saying.
You cannot control this happening.
It is all a part of life
Love is an amazing force.
It makes me feel invincible.
Like I can walk upon the clouds.
For what do I listen to?
The heart or the soul
They fight and fight
Though you sometimes get no where
For why does this happen?
No one knows for sure
It is one of those things that you
just have to let go on for itself.
And you pray and pray your heart leads you
in the right direction
For if the heart doesn't lead you
correctly you can get hurt
A hurt that no one wants to feel.
A hurt that you cannot over come.
For what do you listen to.?
The heart or the inner soul.
For what if I choose the wrong one?
What if I do not follow what the
heart tells me to do?
If I listen to my inner soul
will it lead me where I want to be?
It is an inner and on going battle I tell you.
Which one will win?
We may never know.
It is the game of trial and error.
But how many errors can I make before
I get so hurt that I cannot turn back?
What if I decide that my inner soul was
right and the heart was wrong?
Or what if I decide that the heart was
right and my inner soul was wrong?
I don't know which to listen to.
For how will I ever be able to tell which to listen to?
