Hiding in the Shadows

I wonder why it is that things
Happen the way that they do.
It gives me a different outlook,
And makes me confused.
I want to get away from these things in life.
There is no right way to turn.
I try to cover up the truth and
Hide how I feel.
I cannot do that anymore.
I cannot hide in the shadows.
I must come forward,
I must face that shadowy fear.
But I sit and I ask myself how,
I have not come to an answer,
Though I hope that one day I will,
Though until then,
I will just sit, wonder,
And try to come out from
Those shadows that I hide in...
