    Humbled By Silence

    written by: Victoria Maya
    Category: Misery
    I am waiting
    Humbled by silence
    Hurt by pride
    Tears flowing down my side
Why does it hurt so much?

    I hunger for you
    It is a hunger
    that only you could feed
    I fast for love
Is it food that I need?

    I thought I saw you
    I called out your name
    I heard you answer back
Then the silence filled me with anguish
    I am troubled

    I am losing hope
    My faith crippled
    This journey is tiresome
    My shadow has left me
    I am fading
