I Can See It

That girl in the shower was acting weird...
she looked as if she wanted someone to take her away.
She reached out to the ceiling grabbing at what maybe she thought was the rope.
She looked like she tried to pull the rope, but she fell back.
Water in her mouth she tilted her head back, eyes closed, feeling the blood rush, stumbling a bit.
I thought she'd fall.
Have a great awakening for her.
Standing, feeling her blood flow, wishing it would stop.
Wishing it would all stop.
She silently fought with herself.
Hitting herself, pulling at her hair, scratching her face, slapping at herself.
Wishing it was all over.
She stood and let the water rush over her, deep in thought, one thought I heard silently.
She wants it all to end.
She wants to bleed her pain away, drink her pain away, maybe pop a few dozen pills and it'll all be over.
I can tell at one time she wanted help, I guess it never came.
I can see her depression as she stands and looks like she's draining her blood, letting it flow in streams down into the drain.
She watches it pool in the bottom of the shower.
I can see it.
That’s what she wants.
She wants it all over.
She secretly wants to die. I can see it...
That girl was really...me...
