I've been missing you,
like the sun misses the day.
I wish you could be here,
to tell me things are going to be okay.
Things aren't the same,
without you here.
I feel all alone,
and loneliness is my biggest fear.
I miss you like a sailor misses his boat,
without you I don't know if I can stay afloat.
But the sun came up this morning,
and was shining all day through.
Even though the sun joined the day.
I'll still be missing you.
