    If You Knew

    author: George Fsadni
    category: Love

If you knew how much I missed you,
When your voice I cannot hear.
When your thoughts are not in front of me,
    so honest and so clear.

If you knew how much I missed you,
when we say goodbye each time.
When your heartbeat isn't with me,
    keeping perfect time with mine.

If you knew how much my body aches,
to feel your kiss, your touch.
How I tremble at the thought of you,
how I miss you far too much.

Then I know you'd want me with you,
through each second of each day.
and you'd never let me leave you,
    and you'd never go away.
