Love and Mercy

Your Love is so great, so wonderful,so powerful,its like
something you think about and dream about for hours.
Still not grasping the concept you sit back and ponder.
How can this God love me, when I'm full of sin from my head to my feet.
Its crazy; its even more than i can see.
A new man struggling with sin, so lost in defeat.
Then, out of the blue sea he rescued me,
just like he said he would in John 3:16.
Knowing the full possibilities of what this action would be, he still saved me.
So now i can take flight right into his bosom in the starlight,
whenever the time is right, thank you god for saving this lost life.
For god so loved the world he gave his only begotten son
for who so ever believeth in him shall not perish
but have everlasting life.
