My Love Mei
written by: Joseph Carnevale
Category: love
Flowers bloom in Spring,
the scent of love fills the air,
children play, sweet voices sing,
...laughing in the rain without care.
A warm breeze caresses the skin,
the hot sun shines bright,
feelings begin to arise from within,
a longing to make love on a cool Summer night.
The leaves of Autumn start to turn,
colors quickly reach their peak,
the embers of passion continue to burn,
lie quietly my love...no words to speak.
Winter's cold draws bodies near,
drifting slowly..tiny snowflakes silently arrive,
gently cuddled against a love so dear,
ever thankful for the joy to be alive.
Yet, if all the seasons were just one day,
it would not equal the beauty of my love, Mei.
