    Misjudged

    author: Zanyka

    I've always been misjudged right from the start;
    everyone sees what’s on the outside not what's in my heart,
    Because my hair is short and my skin is black,
    And because of this respect for me is what you lack,
    That’s not right you shouldn’t think that way,
    So open your eyes ears and heart and hear what I have to say,
    When it comes down to brains and intellect,
    I’m the smarter one I mean that with no disrespect,
    But when you judge by the color of skin,
    There’s something wrong with you from deep within,
    So open your eyes can't you see,
    The world has changed for people like me,
    So get your mind right and your heart on track,
    The world has changed for us whites...... and blacks
