The Pain is too much
I need a miracle to save me
from the doom that has taken my life
I am stuck in between the living and the dying.
Somewhere in that awful place
I am caught in a web of pain
The despair that grips me has dimmed the light of my eyes
People no longer recognize me as I walk amongst them
My heart aches with each beat
sending painful tremors through my veins
I fear my life is slipping away
I have too much to carry;
this weight is too heavy to bear
Too much is happening to me
I want the pain to end
But it won’t leave
I need divine intervention
I pray the hand of God saves me
I need a miracle
