    No Foe No Face

    written by: Colin Clarke
    category: War

When darkness fills the holy land
one man fights to take a stand
for human rights and its survival
he fills the demons and empties his rifle

    every bullet passing through
rips the flesh that was tied to
a life that holds evil within
is now set free full of sin

enemies grow as his sight weakens
bullets dry as his hatred deepens
blinded by commands and false information
he fights a false battle with no declaration

never before shall he see again
    what was not there
    that never began
    no foe to face
    no evil without
his perception now is filled with doubt.
