Red Wine
written by: Simon Robinson
Category: Love
Sweet taste of wine that touches my lips
Take me to a place where I can forget
Red wine flow and quench my thirst
Feed my need and drown my regret
Flow through my veins envelop my heart
Loose me in sadness from which I can't part
Red wine so pure, so clear, so full
Drown my sad memories make my mind dull
I stand before you red wine my soul laid bare
I need you to take me to a place I cant care
Take me there quickly with haste with speed
Take me there fast please and do not impede
Red wine's all I have now, for me nothing left
My senses dead, in grief, bereft
Let me down quickly let me run at my loss
Embrace its succour as I await my own death
Red wine please help me I beg of you please
Red wine make my soul at peace, in sadness, at ease
Red wine is my life now, all that I know
Red wine I beg you, flow, flow, flow
