Regret

One night you came to me,
you was sad and depressed.
You said I was the only one that helped you see,
now you keep me away as though im a pest.
I guess we all change in time,
but you set me out as though im not real.
I tried to just say fine,
but I wonder how you feel.
You never want to answer back,
you act like i dont exist.
You put me away in your pack,
along with another list.
You said all you need is one person,
you will regret that.
You think that it is for certain,
but you will wish you had not laughed.
So I say to you now,
let what you say go.
When your crying wondering how,
you let it show.
The pain will be great,
and the cries will grow.
You will wish you were not in that state,
to where you half to let it show.
