    The Sacrificial

    written by: Kubilay Akman
    Category:

    after the water of immortality
in the corridors of an ancient town
I sacrifice my own flesh on each corner

    my burning flesh
    exhausted, melted

I could open my chest to thousands of thunderbolts
for only one spark in these timid glances

where the colors had lost their memory
you taught them again their pale identity

when the souls of melodies are in cage
freedom is in your compassionate fingers

the walls between blues, joy and pain
    between sorrow, trepidation and anxiety
    are vanished now

    blow me as well
    the immortality wind
    I will offer this eternality
    to this noble beauty
    as add my miserable lifetime
    this is my unique aim
