    Simple Pleasures

    written by: Aaron Hill
    Category: Reflection

I suppose the simplest of my simple pleasures is to watch the sun set on a warm summer evening.
The crickets sing and the fireflies dance, performing the most spectacular show on the earth's grandest stage.
In that still, quiet moment, even time stops to appreciate the grandeur.
The colors in the sky reflect the artistry of our Creator.
The cares and worries of the day hitch a ride on the sun and fade off into the west.
As the daylight melts away, the stars peak through and twinkle, as if God is winking at you.
The cool evening breeze brings with it a sense of peace and contentment that penetrates to the very depths of the soul.
