Strength

What is strength?
Is it energy conserved?
Or energy reserved?
Or is it energy spent?
A tall, strong oak has strength,
But will anyone agree
That grass has strength?
Surely you'll disagree.
But when the storm comes,
Like an army of Huns,
It is the Oak that breaks;
With its arrogant head held high.
The grass to the wind sways,
And seeing the oak's plight
Can only sigh.
But both are strong;
One stands adamant in its purpose
And breaks in two
Another sways gently in the wind
And comes out as good as new.
