    True Beauty

    written by: Judith B Moshenek
    Category: Philosophy, life

To see the beauty within a person,
you first must look within the soul.
For true beauty lies deeply hidden,
like a diamond in a lump of coal.

Sometimes the outside can look so pretty,
yet hide a multitude of sin.
And far too often the plainer package
is overlooked, yet somehow triumphs in the end.

True beauty is a beacon shining,
    even in the darkest night.
And indeed it's rare to find someone willing
to try and find that shining light.
