    The Hunted

    written by: Victoria James
    Category:Dark

The hunted are among us now
    Twisting, turning, squishing past
They watch their backs for on coming attackers
Scared to death of what might happen

Knives in their backs, bruises on the arms
    Cracked skulls, broken jaws
Just a few of what can happen
Just a few of what has happened

They protect themselves as much as they can
But there is no escaping the Hunters of man
They come at you fast, quick, and clean
They come by the dozens, thousands and teens

You try to run but there is no way out
You will never escape them, never
Soon your fate will be set
Soon your life will be done

    They will die
There is no mistake, they will die
    They cannot be helped
    They must die

I know this all because I am one
I am one of those living in fear
For I will one day be murdered by my own kind
I will one day be slain by my own blood

    There is no stopping it
    I am the hunted
    I am hunted by man
