    The Middle Asian Princess

    written by: Kubilay Akman
    Category: Love

we were riding under sorrow sky
to the lost kingdom of her ancestors

    in steppe where compassionate angels
are tired of their eternal duty

    her warm lips smelled koumiss
that my soul miss after thousand seasons

    in our woolen tent
I had learnt from the Middle Asian princess

    the secrets of love
    that come from nomadic ages
