    The Mortal

    author: Victoria Maya
    category: general

Tonight his light shimmers off the evening stars.
I felt his radiance go through my skin.
Who is the mortal that desires me from afar?

I want him to know me, the inner me
My depth is boundless as the vast sea.
He could drown in my sorrow.

Would he leave me on the morrow?
Perhaps it is safer to revere me from afar,
Then to test my torrent maelstrom

"Tonight my emotions laving my soul
    Too powerful to contain
    Water erupting from my eyes
    The pain brings forth rain"
