The Trees
author: Rebekah Feingold
category: Love
One night I stayed by the lake it was a full harvest moon
The wind of a ghosts seamed to sweep the land
I fell from the high perch and I was caught
The man of my dreams it was like he seemed to fly
He took me to where the light of the moon shone through the trees
Suddenly fell asleep when I awoke he wasn't there.
Night fall came and I returned to the lake he was there
He took me in his arms and said I cant see you again after to night
Then the moon turned black, he picked me up
And carried me though the trees
He put me down and said good for the final time,
And died.
