    Violent Wind

    written by: Simon Robinson
    Category: Love

    Violent wind your temper blows
Vent your anger wrapped in powerful flows
Torrents of rage whip round and round
Wrath that is carried in on aggressive sound
Might and power thrust through the air
Fall on my ear no fear no care

    Emitted light pierce my eyes
Yellow and white dart out my sight dies
Stand tall on concrete strike me blind
Light in darkness no love will you find
Man made anger strike out at the dark
Kill its blackness make your mark

Beat a retreat into silence and still
Where wind and light will find no ill
Natural beauty in all that I feel
Be not smothered in life its ill deal
For tomorrow will come wrapped in another day
Challenge my sadness and find me a way

For wind you must blow and light you must shine
No feeling, no fear nature benign
No emotion no thrill, no reason to be
Please grant me delight in all that I see
Do not strike out my heart for its I that have sinned
Please grant me forgiveness my deathly wind
