Almost anyone can do it,
Pick a pen and paper up,
and simply get down to it,

Writing poems is easy,
Everyone should have a try,
Pick up any greetings card,
Then you'll know exactly why.

Writing poems is easy,
It doesn't take much time,
Write down what you want to say,
Then try and make it rhyme,

Writing poems is easy,
The fuss is a mystery to me,
I knocked this little baby out,
While sitting drinking tea!
