Part One
Two Septembers ago, I sent the dragonflies to watch over you.
It has been a long time since I have seen my little friends.
When they left me they flew to you, to comfort you while you were alone.
In the absence of the dragonflies, I too was alone.
You came back to me after a long battle.
But the dragonflies were no longer visible to my eyes.
I was too happy to see you to notice at the time,
That something was missing, my friends, the dragonflies.
You took me across the land to live with you.
You sat by me, guarding over me, in silence.
You watched me, calculating me day and night.
All the while I felt the battle that was growing within you.
A climax of events occurred.
Shedding light into the depths of obscurity
To a point of final clarity.
Now, we both see one another far more real than ever before.
On the dawn of a new day,
After the darkness had erased.
We saw a dragonfly dancing in the garden.
The dance of the dragonfly was a symbol of hope.
Speak to my heart as I have to yours.
I want to hear your words
and feel your touch.
I need to know you love me.
Then, I will show you who I am,
and you will see me.
